Panjabi Classes
Panjabi classes take place after school led by staff Mrs Ram and Mrs Khalsa, currently we have 62 children attending. The children are grouped according to ability and we award certificates as they meet the requirements of each Level (Falcons Primary School Panjabi Curriculum Map). Children learn about introducing themselves, saying a range of greetings, reading and writing Gurmukhi letters, counting , recognising maharani (symbols) and also reading and writing words and sentences in Panjabi.

Digital Accelerators
Our amazing Digital Accelerators worked so hard to plan and prepare an assembly about Online Safety. They advised children about what to do if they needto report a problem, discussed our SMART rules and gave guidance on recommended screen time and age restrictions for apps. At the end was a quiz which the children loved participating in. Here is a link to the Powerpoint they made and some photos of the assembly.

National Numeracy Day 2022
we have had great fun celebrating National Numeracy Day. We have been exploring how Maths is used in the real world and the children have made symmetrical shapes using nature, cooked, rapped and created pieces of artwork where shape and repeated pattern is involved.
In Reception we have been celebrating maths through stories. Sassoon the patterned snake needed us to find his friends outside and make new patterned snake friends for him.
