National Numeracy Day 2022
we have had great fun celebrating National Numeracy Day. We have been exploring how Maths is used in the real world and the children have made symmetrical shapes using nature, cooked, rapped and created pieces of artwork where shape and repeated pattern is involved.
In Reception we have been celebrating maths through stories. Sassoon the patterned snake needed us to find his friends outside and make new patterned snake friends for him.

To commemorate Remembrance Day, we decided to host an in-school art gallery. Each year group produced their own art work focussing on different skills ranging from drawing to textures. We then showcased the children’s artistic talents to the school!
